Ron Tysoe has over 20 years of retail, finance and real estate investment industry experience.

Mr. Tysoe served as a member of the Board of Directors of Federated Department Stores Inc. (now Macy’s, Inc.) from 1988 to 2005 and as Vice Chairman for Finance and Real Estate from 1990 to 2006. While at Federated, Mr. Tysoe played a key role in over 30 retail industry transactions, including the acquisitions of Macy’s in 1994 and May Department Stores in 2005. His experience includes distressed / work out situations as he has led two firms out of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Mr. Tysoe negotiated the sale of Federated’s $7 billion account receivable portfolio to Citibank in 2005.

Mr. Tysoe has significant public Board of Director experience and currently sits on the boards of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (NYSE: CM), Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE: SNI), Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS), NRDC Acquisition Corp. and Taubman Centers, Inc. (NYSE: TCO)

Mr. Tysoe received his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of British Columbia.
